Jeannette Jumper Dress Fabric Suggestions

Fabric: Mid-Weight Wovens with none, or up to 3% elastine

Cottons, Poly/Cotton.

Corduroy (mostly cotton and be careful of the direction of the wale on the Poly/Cotton mixes. Poly cottons tend to have way too much stretch in the vertical direction. Cotton cord stretch on the vertical should be minimal.

(Be Sure to Buy a Swatch whenever buying corduroy to check the stretch and the directionality of the wale. Warning: Some wale fabrics go in the wrong direction!)

Denim: Be careful of too tight a fit and shrinkage issues with cotton. Prewash and cut frays, finish with pinking shears if it becomes unmanageable.
