Meet Margie, Owner
"Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you." 1 Thessalonians 4:11
Background
I am a writer and an avid sewist with a background in fine art and design from New England School of Art and Design, Boston, and Multimedia Design at UMass Lowell. I have worked in every industry imaginable during my career. It is this mix of experiences that has attributed to my success in content creation and web design.
What Was Your Favorite Job?
Other than being a mom,, my favorite job was the one where I felt like an outcast and mismatched with the skills for many years. But my job as church secretary taught me the most out of all my jobs. It taught me how to be a thoughtful and responsible worker and work with integrity and pride.
My boss was patient with me as I learned how to organize publications and work with through interruptions.
For nine years I served my Lord and Savior in that position, as publications specialist. I learned how to format and edit documents and send messaging according to stylistic rules.

Who is Marjorie Vaudreuil?
I am founder and owner of SewingPatternSecrets LLC, based in Boston, MA, which is a platform of digital curated sewing patterns, instructions, video tutorials and ebooks.
Sewing Patterns Secrets was conceived with my husband (my #1 supporter), during the pandemic in 2020. I created the brand and product line. He conducts the sales funnels in a model similar to his widely successful sales funnel for Ted’s Woodworking plans on the Clickbank platform.
I can’t forget my mom, who passed in 2017, also supported my decades of artistry, and she was also a benefactor of the initial production costs.
But it is my driven, gifted and brilliant husband who has unfailingly supported all of my endeavours in every way imaginable. He is an award winning advertising guru, who I’m blessed to learn from.
I conceptualized, developed, produced, tested, and edited all of the 150+ curated sewing patterns, instructions and ebooks, using my decades of experience.
I managed a team of fashion designers to bring my ideas into fruition. At one time, I managed as many as 7 fashion designers. However after the initial launch, we are now down to about 4 regular designers, with some additional designers available upon request. We started with 4 master seamstresses, vector artists, graphic designers, and one amazing fashion illustrator.
As such, I am gifted with the ability to share with you my expertise and everything that I have learned along the way, as relates not only sewing, but to project and product creation and all areas of content creation, organization and design.
In addition to writing all of the ebooks for Sewing Pattern Secrets, I am also the main writer of this newsletter, but looking for other (Human) sewing bloggers who would like to partner with us.
We welcome guest bloggers, vloggers, influencers and also an invitation to blog for you as well.
We always want your advice and we also want to hear from you regarding ideas and improvements to our blog, product, or advertising. PLEASE COMMENT. Please do write me at [email protected].
Blessings, Margie
