Don't treat the inside as an afterthought.
The construction sheet specifically calls for Hong Kong seam finishing on the open seams. That includes the shoulders, side seams, center-back seam, sleeve seams, and other raw edges that require finishing.
That's a couture-minded decision.
Instead of simply hiding the raw edges, you're deliberately creating a finished interior.
The shoulder seams are opened and finished.
The side seams are opened and finished.
The center-back seam is opened and finished.
Even the sleeve construction receives the same attention.
When the jacket comes off the hanger, it should still feel like a beautifully made garment.
