⏱️ ✨ Summer Jumpers That Scream PLAY! 👧☀️
These 2 patterns are fast, fun, and fabulously do-able in under 2 hours.

Hi Crew,
What if you could sew not one—but two—stylish play-ready jumpers before your kiddo’s school vacation even kicks into full swing?
Well, you can.
These 2 patterns are fast, fun, and perfect project for you or a young beginner to create for themselves whilst learning to sew. No fitting drama. Just straightforward makes with surprisingly pro results.
These two girl’s one-piece jumpsuits (sizes 5–12) are the kind of patterns that look boutique, feel comfy, and wash like a dream.
And they’re already inside your Sewing Pattern Secrets member dashboard, just waiting to be stitched up.
🎀 These aren’t basic beginner patterns—but they are straightforward for anyone with a bit of experience and a stable knit on hand.
👧 1. Ginny Jumper

Jersey Version without Pattern Modifications
Time to Cut and Sew: 🧵 ⚡ About 90 Minutes
Skill Level: Intermediate
Why It’s a Win: It’s got a fitted look without a fussy zipper or overly complex fit. Kids LOVE the freedom to move, and the finished piece has a modern boutique feel.
Required Fabrics: Medium-Weight Stable Knits – Double Ponte, Cotton Interlock, Double Jersey, Jersey with Spandex. Arm hole and neck binding pattern pieces are for knits of this type. Stretch mainly on the weft. Only about 10% stretch on the vertical.
Advanced Fabric Switch: This pattern could be changed into a light weight woven like chambray or linen blend, but you need to be educated on either changing the bias finishings neck and armholes, on on making your own bodice facing and using the burrito roll finishing technique. Try your hand at widening the pant leg by increasing the size and blending sizes. Try a broadcloth for testing and learning how to perform these changes.
Our Picks: Organic Cotton Interlock, Double Brushed Cotton 95% / Spandex 5%
Notions:
• 3–5 Buttons or Snaps for Back
• NO-Roll Elastic Waistband (¾″ or 1″)
Video Tutorial Detail: Includes Pattern for Neck and Armhole Bias Binding
🔥Tip: Use French bias tape for a cleaner neckline and armholes—members, your how-to videos are already inside.
Pro Detail: Use stretch fabric interfacing, or seam tape, for the neck and shoulders.

🧸 2. Penny Playtime Jumper
Time to Cut and Sew: ⏰ 60–90 Minutes
Skill Level: Intermediate. If you’ve got a serger, great. If not, instructions don’t require one.
Why It’s Fun: The gathered cuffs give it charm—but only if your machine can handle it! If not? Skip the cuff and lengthen the pant leg. Still adorable.
Fabrics: Light to Mid-Weight Stable Knits – Organic Cotton Interlock, Jersey Blends
Our Pick: Merchant Brand 100% Cotton Interlock. Stretch mainly on the weft, only 10% stretch on the vertical.
Feature: Pocket and cuff detail pops when you use contrast colors.
Sewing Machine Tip: You’ll need a detachable arm surface to finish the cuffs. No free arm? Skip the cuff—hem instead.
