Our Calla Cardigan is an excellent project for Intermediate Sewists, You can use a moderate stretch knit (up to 15% stretch or a tight knit without frays. You should stay stitch with zig zag, stretch ZZ with overlock foot on a regular machine or use a serger for a finished edge as you will see the hem and neckline. Seam tape and or stabilizer is suggested for some fabrics.

Fabric: 4-7.5oz Stable Double Knits: Cotton, Tencel, or Wool Mid Weight Jersey, Knits, Novelty Knits, Sweater Knits. 

Notions:

Use a stable knit for this pattern. You will need interfacing or seam tape for the button area, shoulders, arm holes for strength and durability.

1/2” width, 4 buttons

Fusible Interfacing suitable for the knit fabric.
