The Holly-Annah Children’s Dress is an excellent project for Intermediate to Advanced sewists and is designed for woven fabrics with up to 3% elastane.

And for those determined beginners who simply can’t resist giving the Holly-Annah a try… we admire your ambition! 😊 Just be sure to choose a fabric that will make the learning curve a little kinder. Start with easy-to-handle fabrics such as cotton blends, poplin, broadcloth, dobby, or double-sided yarn-dyed plaids. Avoid slippery or delicate fabrics until you have more experience.

Intermediate Sewists: More experienced sewists can explore fabrics such as linen/silk, cotton/silk, or cotton/polyester blends.

Advanced Sewists: More challenging fabrics such as silk and satin are best suited to advanced sewists with experience handling slippery, delicate fabrics.
