Step-by-Step: The Burrito Method Breakdown
And just because I want everyone to benefit, hereâs a quick refresher:
Layer & Prep: Place the bodice and its lining right sides together, matching the seams. Sew the neckline first.
Roll It Up: Roll the bodice tightly toward one armhole, like a burrito.
Wrap & Stitch: Bring the lining over the roll, pin the armhole, and stitchâkeeping the roll out of the seam.
Pull & Turn: Gently pull the rolled fabric out, revealing a perfectly finished seam.
Repeat: Repeat for the other armhole, then press, trim, and admire your work!
